Waterside at Blue Ridge Tiny Home- 145
11.18.22 – 11.20.22 Tiny home living doesn’t have to be in a home on wheels. Waterside at Blue Ridge is a gated RV and tiny home resort located just seven miles north of downtown Blue Ridge. The campground offers 192 sites with the options of renting a tiny home and RV site rentals. My parents rented the tiny home on lot 145 at Waterside while we were staying on lot 108. The campground has a pool and large community hot tub. The Waterside Community Clubhouse is located across the road from the pool and offers rocking chairs, tables, a TV, bathrooms (with showers), laundry, and a deck overlooking the pond…

Fort Mountain State Park – 15
10.14.22-10.16.22 Fort Mountain State Park is located in the Chattahoochee National Forest in North Georgia. The park’s main attraction is the epic overlooks with views of the North Georgia mountains. At the top of the mountain hikers will find a stone fire tower built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, open for tours on the weekends. The drive up the mountain has quite a few curves, but our truck did great. The park includes a 17-acre lake with paddle boats to rent in the summer, a sand beach, and a putt-putt course. The State Park offers a fully stocked visitors center with plenty of ice and firewood. No cell service at this…

Talona Ridge RV Resort
09.30.22-10.02.22 First weekend of October in the North Georgia mountains at the new resort campground with epic mountain views, count me in! Talona Ridge RV Resort is located in Ellijay, GA with views of the Blue Ridge mountains. This RV resort is brand new and already filling up for major holidays and fall weekends. The campground has a long list of amenities to offer visitors, such as a pool, hot tub, pickle ball court, dog park with dog washing station, gym, event space, and bar. River’s Edge RV Park
09.02.22-09.05.22 Campsite that backs up to a North Georgia river? Count me in! River’s Edge RV Park is a private campground located in Blairsville, GA on the Nottely River. The first phase of the campground has 117 RV lots, a pond, river access, and a clubhouse. Our friends, James and Michelle, own a back-in site on the river and let us use it for Labor Day weekend.
