Conveniently located on the way to our favorite beach campground, it’s a great place to stop and visit friends who live there. 07.28.22-07.31.22 150 campsites, 10 camping trips, and we have finally stayed in the back of the campground. McKinney Campground is located in Acworth, Ga on Lake Allatoona. A Corps of Engineers park, it has 150 RV campsites, two beaches, one playground, and a boat ramp. We have camped at McKinney Campground ten times; it’s our go-to campground, nine miles from home. Clark Creek North Campground -14
05.21.21-05.23.21 Clark Creek is located in Acworth, GA on Lake Allatoona. The campground is owned and operated by Bartow County Parks and Recreation. Split by the road, the park has two campgrounds—north and south. We stayed at Clark Creek North once before, in the early spring. The lake was still low and it was cold outside.
