We found the perfect campground great for kayaking and rafting enthusiasts, fishers, hikers, and anyone interested in trains.  Fireside Outpost is a private campground started by Kim Murrell, in Delano, Tennessee. It is right across the street from Hiwassee Scenic River State Park and next to the Cherokee National Forest. The gated campground offers many different types of accommodations including; cabins, full hook-up campsites, and tent sites. Multiple community fire pits are located around the campground.
