07.20.22-07.24.22 If you’re looking for a campsite with privacy, waterfront access, and a long driveway, we have all the details. Victoria Campground is located in Woodstock, GA on Lake Allatoona. A Corps of Engineers park, it has 75 campsites, a beach, playground, boat ramp and boat dock. We have camped at Victoria Campground two other times. Bald Ridge Campground – 43
07.14.22-07.17.22 We were so lucky to pick up one of the best sites in the campground when another camper had to cancel. Our friends are camp hosts at Bald Ridge Creek Campground and had this specific weekend off. We watched the website for cancellations and a couple choices opened up. Bald Ridge Campground is located in Cumming, Georgia on Lake Lanier. A Corps of Engineers park, it has 82 campsites, a beach, playground, and boat ramp. McKinney Campground – 110
07.07.22-07.10.22 McKinney Campground is the only Corps of Engineers campground on Lake Allatoona open year round. However, only half of the sites are available to book in the winter and one of the best ones we had this weekend is not. It’s too bad, because it would be awesome in the fall. Clark Creek North Campground – 22
06.14.22-06.19.22 Only 24 sites in the whole campground, but I managed to book my favorite site for my birthday camping trip. Clark Creek Campground is located in Bartow County on Lake Allatoona. It is run by the county and can only be booked through their website. (More details on how to book later.) The campground is split into two sections and is separated by a bridge. We have only stayed in Clark Creek North and like that section better than South, however the perk to the south is that’s where the campground beach and boat dock is.
